I understand your perspective. I've experienced similar challenges.

Your body is experiencing discomfort. Your stomach rebels after each meal. You're combating brain fog with caffeine just to function. And those jeans feeling tighter by the end of the day? It's frustrating, isn't it? (They're supposed to stretch, right?)

Despite reassurances that everything appears normal, you feel far from it. You're apprehensive about this becoming your "new normal". You've been offered generic solutions for your joint pain, but they're only temporary fixes. You've experimented with superfoods, trendy treatments, and stocked your cabinet with supplements recommended on podcasts.

You're tired of feeling...

well, tired.

Most importantly, you're tired of feeling

dismissed, misunderstood, and unheard.

You're seeking healing. You want to regain a sense of ease in life. You want to thrive! I'll collaborate closely with you to uncover the root causes of your issues. Together, we'll develop a tailored, evidence-based plan to support your journey to wellness. We'll prioritize testing over guessing, and implement scientifically-proven methods to guide you toward healing.

Why Naturopathy

What Is Functional Medicine?

Functional medicine is a whole body approach to healthcare that focuses on identifying and addressing the root causes of illness or dysfunction in the body rather than just treating the symptoms.  It is a patient-centered and integrative approach, addressing the body, mind, and soul.

Symptoms We Address

Chronic Fatigue

More than just a restful night's sleep, maintaining high energy levels throughout the day requires attention to factors such as gut health, stress hormones, and blood sugar levels, as these could be contributing to feelings of fatigue.

Digestive Problems

Experiencing frequent trips to the bathroom or infrequent bowel movements? If you're dealing with belly bloat, conditions such as H. pylori infections or fungal overgrowth like candida might be the underlying culprits behind these uncomfortable (and sometimes embarrassing) issues.

Weight Changes

Weight management goes beyond a simple equation of calories in and calories out. Our bodies are intricately complex. Factors like suboptimal thyroid function, gut infections, or metabolic dysfunction often contribute to extra pounds. Importantly, it's crucial to understand that it's not your fault!

Food Sensitivities

Sensitivity to certain foods extends beyond gluten and dairy; even seemingly "healthy" options like onions or broccoli can be culprits. Additionally, a leaky gut (dysbiosis) might contribute to food sensitivities. The good news is that we have the means to heal this!

Inflammation/Joint Pain

Persistent joint pain might be more than just a physical issue. Inflammation, often linked to conditions like arthritis, can significantly impact daily life. Exploring holistic approaches, including dietary changes and targeted exercises, may help manage inflammation and alleviate joint discomfort.

Testimonials

After a multitude of tests I still didn't have answers to the symptoms I was experiencing. I was doing everything I could to be healthy. I ate clean, took supplements, and stopped alcohol yet my health was still declining. I developed tingling sensations, food reactions, allergies, severe constipation, and multiple chemical sensitivities. I avoided social activities and traveling because I could not control my food or environment. I reached out to Kacie for help. She suggested we dive into my gut health. We found I had H pylori, very little good bacteria, some elevated levels of opportunistic bacteria, a parasite and a sensitivity to gluten. All this had impacted the integrity of my gut and undigested food, toxins, and bacteria were leaking into my bloodstream causing my immune system to react.

Due to my reactions we had to take it slow. We adjusted my diet, added an enzyme to repair the leaky junctions in my gut, added an herbal to kill off the H Pylori, parasite, and opportunistic bacteria. Eventually we can add a probiotic to help further rebuild my good bacteria. Just two months in and I can tell a dramatic difference in how I feel and look. My skin has improved, I go to the bathroom daily, I am tolerating more foods in my diet without reactions. This Christmas I was able to attend social gatherings without reacting to the candle burning, the perfumes, the smell of sausage cooking, and the odor from the gas fireplace and appliances. I hope to be back at 100 percent soon.

Thank you Kacie for helping me to get my quality of life and health back.”
